Aura Prague has offered guided tours in Prague and round trips to other cities of the Czech Republic that highlight UNESCO monuments, the Castle of Prague, churches, and monasteries. We have professional guides educated in fields related to architecture who offer tours that focus on Romanesque, Gothic, Rennaissance, Baroque, Classicism, Art Nouveau, Cubism, Rondocubism, Art Deco, Functionalism, Socialist Realism and Postmodernism and Contemporary architecture. Either Aura Prague contucts or our guides conduct guided tours in the galleries and museums of Prague that focus on individual painters (for example, Gustav Klimt, Alfons Mucha, Egon Schiele, Oskar Kokoschka, or František Kupka), or sculptors (for example, August Rodin or Otto Guttfreud), musical composers (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Bedřich Smetana, or Antonín Dvořák).  It structures creative courses and training in the techniques of decorative arts and photography, and it takes visitors to open-air museums where there is instruction on medieval handicrafts.

Medieval and Modern Jewish History in Bohemia and Moravia

Aura Prague offers guided tours to the Jewish Museum of Prague in the Jewish Town, New Jewish Cemetery in Prague and the UNESCO protected Jewish town of Třebíč, synagogues of Plzeň (Pilsen), Mikulov, and Polna. It offers tours of concentration camps and prisons conected with Shoah (Holocaust) not only in the Czech Republic, such as – Terezin (Theresienstadt) and the gypsy site, but also to such locations as Sachsenhausen, Dachau, and Plotzensee.

History of Central Europe, Foreign Relations

History lectures prepared specifically for young historians, guided tours, and seminars about various periods of Central European history are staple: Premyslids, Jagello dynasty, Luxemburgs and Emperor Charles IV, Reformation and the Thirty Years War, Habsburg Monarchy, First Republic–an Island of Democracy, Prague under the Swastika, Communist Coup, Third Resistance and Persecution during the Communist Regime, Prague Spring, Velvet Revolution, and Czech Foreign Relations with Germany, Austria, Russia, and the USA.

Laws, Police, and Criminality

For experienced lawyers or aspiring jurists, Aura Prague has arranged visits to courts with an interpreter, tours of the Law Faculty of the Charles University, visits to a lawyer or notary, meetings with representatives of police of the Czech Republic, and tours of the Police Museum with a particular focus, for example, organized crime.

Social Work and Special Pedagogy

Aura Prague can arrange seminars and visits with interpreters to retirement homes, asylums, homes for the handicapped, hospitals, charitable organizations, and special schools.

Tourism and Hotel Industries

Aura Prague can schedule lectures at Czech universities and faculties teaching tourism and can arrange visits to Czech Tourism or other national tourist boards in Prague, such as Österreich Werbung. It can set up meetings with representatives from the Czech Republic Guides Association and visit Czech travel fairs, each with accompanying programs–MADI in November, Holiday World in February, and Go in January.

Spas of the Czech Republic

Aura Prague can arrange cures at Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad), Mariánské Lázně (Marienbad), Františkovy Lázně (Franzensbad), Třeboň (Wittingau), and elsewhere.  It also has experience working with Hungarian Spas.  In every case, the spa visit can include cultural events and tours to nearby castles, palaces, natural protected areas, towns, cities, and other attractions.

Sport and Adventure Programs

For the beginners or the experienced, Aura Prague can arrange all types of sporting tours with guides: canoeing, rafting, mountain or rock climbing, wall climbing, biking trips, paintball parks, and horse riding.  We can offer ski or snowboard holidays with instruction in several languages.  Other unusual activities include mushroom picking for beginners and belly dancing courses in Prague and Vienna.  For those interested in agricultural tourism, Aura Prague can arrange a visit to an organic farm with the owner providing information about its operation.  It also can arrange sightseeing flights for individuals in West Bohemia with an English or German interpreter.

We offer environmental programs, seminars, and exursions on various profesional levels, including schools, youths, government management, scientists. Aura Prague can organize visits in scientific institutions, and universities, as well as with managers of national parks, geoparks and other protected areas.

Aura Prague organizes educational programs and arranges participation in specialised seminars and conferences about all types natural sciences for experts and students in cooperation with Czech universities as well as scientific and research institutes.
